Presidency 2023: Jonathan declares support for Gov Bala Mohammed
Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday declared support for Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State for the 2023 presidential election. Former President Jonathan, hosting Governor Mohammed and his team on consultation at his residence, stated that Governor Mohammed worked with him when he was President as Minister of the FCT, and has continued to stand with him since he left office. “There are some people who worked with me when I was President and they are still with me since I left office, and you are one of them.
“Those of you who worked with me and want to be President of the country, I will support you,” Jonathan said.
The former President noted that Governor Mohammed did well as the FCT Minister and is still doing well as Governor of Bauchi State. “You worked with us as FCT Minister, and luckily for us, you became Governor of Bauchi State, you Are doing well, and continue to do what you are doing. By the grace of God and with the support of Nigerians, you will become the President of this country,” former President Jonathan declared.
Former President Jonathan reiterating his support for Governor Bala Mohammed wished him well in his mobilization and camping.
