Revealed: Aduke Gold’s hidden struggles before untimely death
In a somber revelation, a former manager of the late Gospel singer Aduke Gold has disclosed the severe hardships she faced prior to her death.
The manager, who chose to remain anonymous, described Aduke’s experiences with extensive physical and sexual abuse, which profoundly affected her despite her young age.
Aduke Gold, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at 37 years old, was undergoing surgery for cervical cancer when she died.
The manager detailed that Aduke endured not only physical injuries but also significant emotional distress. He claimed that she was adept at concealing her suffering, often masking her pain with outward smiles and failing to confide in those around her.
“She was exceptionally skilled at hiding her emotions and kept her struggles private,” the manager stated. “Perhaps if she had shared her pains with friends and colleagues, things might have turned out differently.”
Reports from an independent source indicate that Aduke’s physical abuse stemmed from a tumultuous relationship with a drummer who performed with renowned Gospel artist Lanre Teriba.

The manager recalled how Aduke had previously confided in him about her distressing experiences with men, including abuses perpetrated by individuals who pretended to be helpful.
“Her demeanor changed significantly when she spoke of her relationship issues, but she eventually stopped sharing these details,” the manager noted.
Another source revealed that Aduke also suffered abuse from a restaurateur in the Ogba area of Lagos State. According to this source, Aduke’s kindness and gentle nature made her vulnerable to exploitation by men who took advantage of her.
“Despite knowing about her suffering, she chose to keep her experiences to herself,” the source said. “Her abuser would assault her severely each time she returned home from a performance.”
The tragic details of Aduke Gold’s life underscore the hidden struggles of individuals who, despite public success, may endure private torment.
