Shehu Sani reacts as Wike allegedly holds secret meeting with Tinubu in London
Amid ongoing internal wranglings in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a former Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has come out to react to reports that Rivers State Governor and party strongman, Nyesom Wike and his camp have held a secret meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in London, United Kingdom.
Recall that the Rivers Governor has been locked in a bitter feud with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over the fall-out of the PDP presidential primaries which saw the latter clinch the party’s sole presidential ticket.
Taking to his verified Facebook page some minutes ago, Senator Sani expressed his displeasure over the rancor that has been allowed to fester within the ranks of the PDP.
In his post, the former Lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly urged all PDP members to line up behind its presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar. He also warned that anti-party activity is quite a dangerous game to play especially when it fails.
In what appeared to be a sly dig aimed at Nyesom Wike, Senator Sani stated that anyone who is still angry at the outcome of the PDP’s presidential primary should direct his anger at the party delegates who voted against him.
