Students rage as Edo principal absconds with WASSCE fees
Some students of a secondary school in Edo State have reportedly been left stranded as their proprietor absconded with their West African Senior School Certificate Examination registration fees.
The students who were supposed to start their examination on Tuesday got to the school to meet a sign on the gate, declaring that the school had been put up for sale.
According to a trending video online, the sign said, “School for sale”. Some of the students were seen vandalising the classrooms, while others loitered within and outside the school premises.
