Toyin Abraham warns against fake death rumours
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has issued a stern warning to social media users spreading false reports about her death online.
In a video shared via her Snapchat page, the actress condemned TikTok users who post her photos alongside “RIP” captions, describing the trend as disturbing and unacceptable.

Abraham warned that she would take action against anyone caught spreading such content and said she would not entertain pleas or excuses on behalf of offenders.
“You on TikTok, posting my pictures and putting RIP, if I catch you I won’t listen to anyone begging on your behalf,” she said.
The actress also urged those responsible for the misleading posts to immediately delete them and stop circulating false information about her.
“Go and delete and stop… if I catch you I won’t listen. I shall not die,” she added.
False celebrity death rumours have become increasingly common on social media platforms, often triggering panic among fans before being debunked by the affected public figures or their representatives.
