Troops kill bandits in clearance operations
Troops of the Nigerian Army, in an operational feedback to the Kaduna State government on Tuesday, disclosed that the operatives killed some bandits in clearance operations in the forests of Idasu, Fatika and Makera in Giwa Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan, said that many bandits were neutralised during the clearance operation, noting that several others fled with gunshot injuries.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai commended the troops for their success, urging them to work harder.
The governor urged citizens in the areas to report suspicious individuals seeking medical attention for gunshot injuries to the security operations room.
