Two Convicted, four arrested over illegal firearms in Delta
A Delta State High Court has sentenced two men to ten years imprisonment for illegal possession of firearms.
Nelson Adoh, 30, and Joshua Anamali, 25, were found guilty by Justice O.F. Enenmo of possessing a cut-to-size single-barrel rifle.
In a separate incident, the Delta State Police Command has apprehended four suspected armed robbers.
The suspects, identified as Savage Roland, Clever Imonukore, Isaac Umukoro, and Louis Opone, were arrested during a stop-and-search operation along Kwale Road.
Two brand new pump-action shotguns were recovered from their possession.

The prosecuting counsel, Catherine O. Oboreruomo, urged young people to steer clear of crime, emphasizing the consequences of such actions.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
The convicts are currently serving their sentence at the Kwale Custodial Center.
