Why banditry will not end in the North – Shehu Sani
A former governorship aspirant in Kaduna under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Shehu Sani has reacted to the kidnapping of another set of 50 people along the Zamfara-Sokoto road. Shehu Sani said,
“While we are rejoicing the release of eleven train hostages by the terrorist group, fifty people were kidnapped along Zamfara-Sokoto as long as Turji, Kachalla, Manjagara & Baleri remains at large, there will be no end in sight to these acts of terror.”
This is the reason stated by Shehu Sani who understands what is happening in the North. The bandits have become a nuisance that they kidnap people at will. The security agents have tried their best at suppressing them but to no avail because these bandits have been attacking in a Gestapo manner that has eluded the security forces.
Intelligence reports should have revealed the location of the bandit’s heads and leaders such as the people mentioned by Shehu Sani. These are the people that are commanding banditry operations across the North. They will not relent until they are arrested and their means of livelihood which is kidnapping is cut off.
