You were not elected to find faults, Ben Bruce tells Buhari
Senator Ben Murray Bruce, representing. Bayelsa East senatorial district in the upper legislative Assembly has taken swipes at President Muhammadu Buhari for his continued blaming of former President Goodluck Jonathan for his inability to perform since May 29, 2015 that he took over leadership of the country.
The owner of the Silverbird Group posted on his twitter handle @benmurraybruce that Buhari was not elected to find faults but to deliver on election promises made to the Nigerian people.
He therefore advised the President to urgently face the business of governance, warning that failure to focus on the mandate given to him in the last general elections may end up in anticipated problems.
Senator Murray Bruce who also represents President Jonathan in the Nigerian Senate further deplored the use of propaganda by the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government, pointing out that seeking to misinform or mislead the people would not yield any positive results.
The tweet is reproduced below :
“Fuel scarcity, Jonathan’s fault. Non payment of salary, Jonathan’s fault. Terrorism, Jonathan’s fault. We were not elected to find faults”
“Propaganda can only sustain you for so long. Blaming others will fool weak minded people for just that long. You asked for it. Now deliver.”
