Army rescues 180 hostages, clears Baale

The on-going military operations to clear the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists at the various sectors of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, have yielded another positive results as troops of 7 Division Garrison and 112 Battalion, cleared Menari, Bulamari, Zangebe, Maafa, Mijigine, Baale and Kaltaram villages in Mafa Local Government Area.

Assisted by civilian JTF during the operations, they killed five Boko Haram terrorists and rescued 180 persons and their cattle held hostages by the terrorists at Giltimari and Baale.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Director, Army Public Relations therefore called for cooperation of Nigerians to completely decimate the terrorists.
