Breaking: PDP falls to pieces; 2 deputies grab factions
Following the suspension of the PDP National Chairman Uche Secondus by a court order, two deputies of the national chairman have decided to go away with a faction each.
The attending confusion has numbed the party as no one of the leadership structures has a clear lead now. Not even the BoT headed by Whalid Jubril
Deputy National Chairman (South), Elder Yemi Akinwonmi now leads one faction while the Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Suleiman Nazif, has taken the other.
The party which just boasted to present a viable alternative to the ruling APC has produced two deputies scrambling for the seat Secondus has yet to leave.
The suspended national chairman, the National Daily reported, is still tweaking his legal instrument to contest his suspension largely spearheaded by his River Gov Nyesom Wike.
