Cristiano Ronaldo who made a sensational return to the Old Trafford this summer has remarkably scored five goals in five matches as he recently netted United’s winner in Wednesday’s Champions League victory over Villarreal.

Though, the Old Trafford legend could to be extremely content with his contribution for the Red Devils since his return, but he has gone ahead to make it clear to United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he has the capacity to increase his goal ratio provided the team become quicker in the opposition’s half.

National Daily gathered from ESPN that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner wants United’s defenders to get the ball to the forwards more quickly, with Solskjaer’s side somewhat flattering to deceive despite their strong summer transfer window

With Manchester United having made bumper summer acquisitions that brought in Ronaldo from Juventus, Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and their long time target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, Solskjaer has demanded from his team to be more ruthless starting with Everton’s visit on Saturday.

Sadly for the Red Devils fans, United have already dropped five points in the league this season after they shockingly lost at home to Aston Villa last weekend, while also losing their opening Champions League fixture against Swiss giants Young Boys in a similar fashion.

However, the fascinating news for United fans is that the Old Trafford club have only lost one of their past 12 Premier League meetings with Everton – recording six wins and five draws – with their defeat coming in April, 2019 at Goodison Park.

The Red Devils came from behind to snatch all three points against Villarreal during the week with a lovely equalizer through Alex Telles as they completed the comeback when Ronaldo fired home an injury-time winner.

The Portugal captain has yet again demonstrated the fact that he is a born winner naturally when he helped United record a huge result to boost their chances of qualifying from the stages of the UEFA Champions League according to Clinton Morrison.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, the former Crystal Palace striker held: ‘Ronaldo was fairly quiet for most of the game but big footballers and the best players in the world always come up with the goods when their team needs it.

‘That’s what Ronaldo has done ever since he has come back to United. He has delivered.  A lot of people questioned him with his age – will he be able to deliver? Of course he can.

‘He keeps himself in great condition, he keeps on going and he is a natural born winner. That is what he showed again.’
