Check out 20 countries without a military
Military is an organized group of people who are trained for the purpose of defending their nations against external attack. Military consist of armed forces who are experts in combat and they are responsible for protecting their nations during war.
A lot of countries in the world have their armed forces that serve as the protectors of their territories. Countries like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Nigeria and others have their Military with different ways of recognition.
However, despite the advancement in military operations, some countries still don’t have a military. In most of these countries, their national police forces act as de facto military forces and protect the country’s boarders.

There are about 36 countries and territories that do not have a military according to the CIA world Factbook.
