Lucky Igbokwe Appointed As National Patron PDP National Youth Movement
Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, a Businessman, philanthropist, United Nations Peace Ambassador, and a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, has been appointed the National Patron and Youth Ambassador of the PDP National Youth Movement (PDP-NYM).
The appointment was conferred on him at the inauguration of the National and state executives of the PDP pro-youth group on Saturday at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza Abuja.
The PDP -NYM, which is a pro-youth group, responsible for galvanizing the youth population to register, support, and vote for the PDP as a party of choice, in the forthcoming general elections, unanimously, adopted Mayor Igbokwe as one of its patrons, due to his track record of supporting and empowering youths particularly in Abia and Nigeria in general
The businessman and politician was later decorated as the patron in an event that had former Nigeria’s Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the special guest of honor.
Others in attendance are, former Senate President, Distinguished Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Sen. Dino Melaye, Sen. Shehu Sani, Governor of Rivers State Barr. Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike, PDP National Chairman, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, PDP National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, Former Senate President, Alhaji Bukola Saraki, Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Governor of Bauchi State. Sen. Bala Mohammed among other important dignitaries.
