Prosecutor re-arraigns 3 suspects at Magistrate Court over killing of 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar
The prosecutor of arrested persons in relation to the brutal killing of Hanifa Abubakar on Wednesday re-arraigned three suspects at a Magistrate Court in Kano State.
The suspects were brought to the court for second appearance before a Senior Magistrate, Muhammad Jibril, on various charges per the murder of Hanifa Abubakar, a female pupil of a private school in Kano.
The girl was first kidnapped by the arrested persons, who after collecting the demanded ransom, went ahead to kill the little girl who recognized one of the kidnappers as the proprietor of the school.
The police, on thorough investigation, discovered the shallow grave where the girl was buried on the school premises ion Kano. Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State has since the incident ordered the closure of the school.
