Police raid cultists hideouts, arrests drug, kidnap syndicate
The Police, raiding hideouts of cultists in Delta State, arrested a syndicate of illicit drug dealers and kidnappers. Members of the syndicate were arrested having stock of large quantities of illicit drugs suspected to be cocaine, Indian hemp, and packets of tramadol in their possession at the time of raiding cultists hideouts in Udu- Otujeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammad, in a statement emphasised that the raid on criminal hideouts and black spots across the state was part of measures towards guaranteeing a safe society.
The Commissioner disclosed that a kidnap syndicate was arrested in Oleh, Isoko North Local Government Area.
