Bandits invade community, kidnap village head, farmers, in Kaduna
Bandits invaded a rural community where they kidnapped the village head and some farmers in Rijana community, Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The village head, Ayuba Dodo Dakolo, was said to be kidnapped with some farmers at Kurmi village near Chikwale community in Kachia Local Area.
The bandits were said to have later on Thursday after the abduction contacted community leaders in Rijana, transmitting their demands before the release of the village head and others in their captivity. Their demands were said to include unspecified huge amounts of money as ransom, motorbikes, gallons of petrol, engine oil, cigarettes, and tramadol.
