Boko Haram hits Borno again, Kill more than 50 farmers
Boko Haram terrorists, suspected to belong to the Jama’at Ahl group, Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād, invaded farmlands in Borno State, northeast Nigeria, killing more than 50 persons working on their farms.
It was gathered that search for dead bodies continued after the terrorists had gone. The Boko Haram terrorists were said to have arrived the farmland on motorcycles in large numbers, descended on farmers in Rann, Headquarters of Kala-Balge Local Government Area, Northern Borno.
The terrorists were said to have surrounded the farmers and thereafter, slaughter them one after the other with guns and machetes.
The bodies found were said to have been buried, while search for other victims continued.
