LASEMA battles raging fire in Ikoyi
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) says emergency responders are currently battling a fire that broke out at an Ikoyi residence.
This is contained in a statement issued by its Director-General, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu, on Wednesday in Lagos.
Oke-Osanyitolu said that the fire broke out at Ilabare Road, Ikoyi.
He said that the agency activated its response team to the location and with a combined team of the Lagos State Fire Service.
He added that they were taking immediate action to put out the residential fire which appears to be spreading rapidly to adjoining property.
