Biafra League militia goes violent, kidnaps 3 oil workers
A militia group perceived to be the militant wing of the Biafra Nations League (BnL) have went vilent at the weekend, kidnapping three oil workers, capturing their speed boat and safety equipment in Atabong, Bakassi Peninsula, which they took to unknown destination.
The militia group intercepted the oil workers at about 9.00am while they were going to work.
The Biafra Nations League leader last week had confrontation with the Nigerian Navy at the outskirt of the Bakassi Peninsula, he survived and escaped with his boys into the Peninsula.
The BnL have been operating in the Peninsula and the Gulf of Guinea, intercepting vessels arriving the shores of nigerian and Cameroon from the international waters at different times.
