The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the APC campaign in Lagos on Saturday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, boasted that he will win Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Kebbi, Kwara, and Plateau states in collaboration with the governors of the states. He assured his supporters in Lagos that the northern governors will deliver bulk votes for him to defeat other presidential candidates who include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Tinubu had declared: “Can you see the governors of Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Kebbi, Kwara, and Plateau.
“We won’t lose any of the states. We will govern this country together. They are here in Lagos to show their support for me.”
The APC presidential candidate, among other things, told the supporters to make sure they collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to vote for him in the February 2023 presidential election.
Other party leaders at the campaign include the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat; etc.
