Unbelievable as player was whipped by a football fan after defeat
It was an unbelievable scene as a player was whipped by a football fan after defeat. Al-Ittihad striker Abderrazak Hamdallah was whipped by a fan. This was following his side’s defeat to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final on Thursday evening.
Al-Ittihad were thrashed 4-1 by Al-Hilal at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
During Al-Hilal’s celebrations after their win, Moroccan striker Hamdallah who had scored his side’s equaliser in the second half, confronted the angry fan in the stands and squirted water in the man’s direction.

The supporter then responded by lashing Hamdallah with a whip before he was pulled away by a nearby steward.
Hamdallah was recruited by Al-Nassr when he initially moved to the Saudi Pro League in 2018.
In 2021, the striker moved to Al-Ittihad and has helped the club win the Saudi Pro League and the Saudi Super Cup during his time at club.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilil had their £77.6 million summer signing Neymar sitting in the stands as the Brazil international is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury.
