Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has urged government agencies and other employers of corps members to provide an enabling environment for them to work effectively.

During the closing ceremony of Batch B Stream II Corps members at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp, Issele-Uku, Oborevwori emphasized the importance of supporting corps members and creating a conducive atmosphere for their service.

The governor called on all stakeholders, including local government personnel, traditional rulers, community leaders, and security agencies, to prioritize the safety and well-being of corps members.

He encouraged them to provide a peaceful and interactive environment for the youths to fully integrate into their communities and contribute to their development.

Oborevwori urged corps members to serve their employers  diligently and with commitment, highlighting the positive impact of their predecessors on various communities.

He encouraged them to be role models and mentors to the younger generation.

The governor assured corps members of the state government’s continued support for the NYSC scheme and its commitment to developing the permanent orientation camp.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Olusegun Alao, commended the state government for its efforts in completing the 700-bed capacity hostel.

He encouraged corps members to actively participate in group or individual projects to make a positive impact on their host communities.
