Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has voiced concerns regarding the demanding football calendar, which has led to increasing complaints from players about potential strikes.
Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has lent his voice to the packed football calendar that has culminated in a lot of complaints from players threatening to go on strike.
The Ajax midfielder who is out of favour in the England setup after his move to the Saudi Arabian with Al-Etifaq before a move to the Dutch side, Ajax spoke to the BBC on Thursday on the subject.
Manchester City star Rodri championed the call for breaks for football players and warned that players could embark on strike to protest the many games.
Ajax are set to face Besiktas on Thursday night in the Europa League and the question of mental and physical burnout was asked the experienced English star.
