Lagos Warriors suffer 38 point blowout

The much anticipated Continental Basketball League (CBL) tipped of yesterday at the Indoor Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium with a game between Lagos Warriors and Yaounde Giants.
National Daily gathered that the Warriors will not like to forget in a hurry as they were trumped by the Cameroonian side, losing the game by 38 points.
Christian Bayang (194-SG-87) made the first basketball of the tournament with his free throw 1.22 minsinto the first quarter. The Warriors took the lead in the 6th minutes of the first quarter with Scott’s three point shot. The two teams exchange leads
couple of time in the first quarter,after which the Giants pulled away and dominated till the end of the game.
Giants’ Felix Bogmis (192-G-92) had a tournament high 26 points. He made more 3 points field goals(7) than the entire Lagos Warriors team (2). He made 15 of his 26 points in the last quarter all from 3 point shots. Five other Giants had double digits points; Bayang (10), Esters (16), Ayangma (11), Ngwese (10), Bileg (11).
