Parallex Bank renews Dr. Olufemi Bakre’s tenure as Managing Director
In recognition of his outstanding leadership and strategic vision, the Board of Directors of Parallex Bank Limited has approved the renewal of Dr. Olufemi Bakre’s tenure as Managing Director for another five years, effective May 1, 2025.
The board, in a recently released statement, expressed its satisfaction with the rapid growth and transformation that Parallex Bank has experienced since it obtained a commercial banking license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2021.

Bakre’s extensive banking experience, spanning over three decades, covers multiple sectors, including financial institutions, corporate banking, SME and retail banking, public sector financing, and international business.
