Kuto Market razed by fire

Fire has reportedly gutted the popular Kuto Market in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The fire incident which was believed to have been caused by power surge, started late at night when traders and shop owners have left for the day.
About fourteen shops were completely razed, property valued at tens of millions of naira were destroyed.
The Caretaker Chairman of Abeokuta South, Olusola Ekundayo said the market authorities will investigate the actual cause of the incident. While talking to journalist, said ‘’we will investigate the matter and then know what the next action to take’’
Meanwhile, victims of the fire outbreak have been asked to report at the Ibara Police Command for further interrogation and lose evaluation.
