A Bride nab at cult initiation in Hotel
Barely 24 hours to her traditional wedding engagement a bride to be was arrested by the operatives of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, Ogun state police command for alleged cult activities.
The bride, Bose Christopher, was arrested in Abeokuta at undisclosed hotel, Ogun State for cult initiation .
National Daily reliably gathered that Bose attended the inglorious ceremony with another man not the intending groom.
Confirming the report, the state police commissioner, Ahmed Ilyasu, said the suspect was arrested by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, during the initiation of cult members in a hotel.
Parading the culprits, the police chief said Bose had gone to the initiation ceremony with a boyfriend when she was arrested alongside other suspected cultists.
Bose however confessed. “It is true,I went with my boyfriend to the party and it is also true that my wedding engagement was scheduled to hold the next day I went to the ceremony with my boyfriend,”she said.
“I did not know he belonged to cult or member of any cult group ,I met him two weeks ago we exchange number he called me to come and join him at the hotel for a party if I closed from my shop.
In a related development, the police paraded no fewer than 35 suspects ranging from different offenses armed robbery, impersonation, kidnapping and rituals.
He said the suspects would be charged to court immediately investigation is over.
