ADVAN hails Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s election as first female NIMN president, backs partnership

The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Mrs. Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, FNIMN, on her historic election as the first female President and Chairman of Council of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).
Describing the development as a landmark moment for the Nigerian marketing industry, ADVAN lauded Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s outstanding leadership, professional integrity, and passionate advocacy for marketing excellence in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by ADVAN President Mr. Osamede Uwubanmwen, the association emphasized that Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s emergence represents not only a personal achievement but a symbolic breakthrough for women in leadership across Nigeria’s corporate and professional sectors.
“Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s emergence as NIMN President marks a significant milestone for the marketing industry,” Uwubanmwen said. “Her track record of dedication and impact gives us great confidence in her ability to steer the Institute toward new levels of relevance and excellence.”
He praised her distinguished career, noting that her contributions to marketing development, professionalism, and institutional growth have been instrumental in raising standards across the industry.
ADVAN expressed its optimism about the future of marketing under Dr. Bayo-Ajayi’s stewardship, particularly as the industry adapts to shifting consumer behaviors, digital transformation, and calls for greater inclusivity.
