Arsenal fan slumps, dies at viewing centre in Imo state

At Anara community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State on Saturday, a middle-aged man known as Dominic Ejimba watching a football match slumped and died before he could be rushed to the hospital.
The incident happened as he was watching Arsenal vs. Stoke City match in the ongoing English Premier League season.
Sources said the deceased is a die-hard Arsenal FC supporter who could not bear it when his team conceded a goal midway into the second half of the game. He was watching the encounter at a viewing centre on the Owerri-Okigwe expressway said the source .
One of Liverpool fans, Obi James said Dom loved football and Arsenal.
“It was unfortunate because all of us were exchanging jokes nobody was sensing any danger; we never knew that death was lurking”.
He had supported Arsenal for a very long time maybe he is hypertensive patient we not aware .
The deceased brother Francis Onwuka confirmed the incident to our reporter.
He dead immediately he slumped while watching Arsenal and Stoke City match on
Friday and could not make it to the hospital.
Dom had a wife and three little kids.

Ikeokwu, who described the Dominic as a great fan of the London-based football club said the thoughts of all Arsenal fans in the state were with the family.
National Daily gathered that the deceased, who was in his early 40s, had supported Arsenal from his childhood.
The late Dominic Ejimba hailed from Umufuku-Umunchi in Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo State.
