Charly Boy escapes death in Abuja
Popular entertainer and music icon, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, escaped death at Wuse market in Abuja on Tuesday as Pro-President Buhari protesters clashed with him.
He began and led a protest tagged #ResumeOrResign protest against President Muhammadu Buhari as he has continued to stay in London on medical vacation.
National Daily learnt that Charly Oputa was violently attacked in Wuse Market by angry protesters and damaged his car.
As a result of the brouhaha, the gates of the market were temporarily shut while armed security men were deployed to calm the nerves.

It was further learnt that the group, who were attacked on day-2 of the protest at the Unity Fountain by some anti-riot policemen with canisters are preparing to mobilize people against 100 days event tomorrow.
Reacting to the attack in a cynical manner on his Facebook wall, a Lagos lawyer and social activist, Barr Giwa Amu said, “Guys!! See oo!! All of a sudden, solidarity match don emanate from everywhere in support of President Buhari, Kai, all in all, Charlie Boy and #ourmumudondo patriots are the winners, if the sponsored helps like make dem empty the swamps and the ghettos and the king’s jesters club to match in solidarity of Mr President.
“Charlie Boy and #ourmumudondo patriots have successfully brought the much required awareness of the right of a private citizen to know…Youths Arise una mumudondo!!!!!!,” he reiterated.
