Breaking News! Cracks in PDP: Ex-Speaker Dogara defects again to APC, visits Buhari at Presidential Villa
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may be going through a time of latent political turmoil forcing former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, to dump the PDP and defect back to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The former Speaker was among the defectors that formed the nPDP in the build up to the 2015 general elections.
The former Speaker, representing Bogoro, Dass, Tafawa Balewa federal constituency, Bauchi State, in the Ninth National Assembly may have been having a running battle with the Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed.

Yakubu Dogara visited President Muhammadu Buhari with Friday afternoon after his defection to the APC.
Bashir Ahmad, Senior Special Adviser to the President on New Media, confirmed the defection and visit of the former Speaker to President Buhari on his twitter handle. Dogara visited the president accompanied by APC Caretaker Committee chairman and Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
