Datti reacts to FFK claim
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, responded on social media in response to Chief Femi Fani Kayode’s post about the claim that Baze University in Abuja yesterday refused to allow 185 of its students the opportunity to sit for their ongoing examinations because they owed unpaid fees.
On his Twitter account, Chief Femi Fani Kayode earlier said that “150 amnesty children were recently expelled from their institution by a man running for vice president because they were unable to pay the tuition. There is no sympathy, no empathy, no charity, and no thought for the underprivileged.”
Datti responded to this by pointing out that the FG had refused to pay for them just like they had done with ASUU.
He claims that “According to FFK, Datti drove the amnesty students away from BASE University. I’d like to inform you, without charge, that F.G. refused to pay for them, just as they did with ASUU. Here, there is no distinction.”
