Five men charged with stealing N25 million worth of milo products
Five men have been charged with stealing a truckload of Milo products worth N25 million, belonging to Nestle, in Ogun State. The defendants, aged between 26 and 51, denied the charges and were granted bail.
Five men appeared before an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun State on Monday, facing charges of stealing a truckload of Milo products valued at N25 million.
The defendants—Temidire Ramon (35), Aminu Yusuf (26), Olusola Opadare (35), Oludayo Adeleye (38), and Amodu Jimoh (51)—are accused of conspiring to steal the products, which belonged to Nestle Nigeria.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. E.O. Adaraloye, the alleged theft occurred on October 13, 2020, in Agbara, Ogun State.
The milo products were stolen while in transit, and the accused have been charged under Sections 390(9) and 516 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ogun State, 2006.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Mr. O.A. Onagoruwa granted them bail in the sum of N500,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum.
The sureties must be gainfully employed, reside within the court’s jurisdiction, and provide evidence of tax payment to the Ogun State Government.
The case was adjourned until December 12 for further hearing.
