Joe Igbokwe reacts after a video of Asari Dokubo dressed in traditional outfit surfaced
A well known Nigerian politician, Joe Igbokwe who was the spokesperson for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Lagos State chapter has taken to his official Facebook page to react after a video of Asari Dokubo dressed in traditional outfit while surrounded by armed men surfaced.
In the video shared by a reliable social media platform called the Punch Newspaper, Asari Dokubo was seen dressed in a complete traditional outfit while being surrounded by armed men and a group of praise singers.
It might interest you to know that Asari Dokubo, formerly known as Melford Dokubo Goodhead Jr., is alleged to be a former Niger Delta militant and a major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
This particular video has attracted a lot of attention as many Nigerians, including Joe Igbokwe, took to the social media platform to react.
While sharing on his official Facebook page, the exceptionally boisterous APC and Bola Tinubu supporter, and special adviser to the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on drainage and water resources, Joe Igbokwe asked why would Asari Dokubo attend an event while dressed like that.
According to his words, Joe Igbokwe said, “What is the meaning of this?”.
