Joe Igbokwe reacts after Ganduje, Godswill Akpabio & others inspects venue ahead of APC’s convention
A few hours ago, the former Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, Joe Igbokwe, took to his social media page and reacted after Abdulhahi Umar Ganduje, Godswill Akpabio, and others inspects the APC’s venue ahead of the 2022 National Convention.
Remember that the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), was said to have told the All Progressives Congress that by the provision in section 82(1) of the electoral Acct 2022, it requires 21 days notice from any political party to conclude with the electoral body. It was, however, said that the All Progressives Congress has gone ahead to fix the 26th of March, 2022 for its convention regardless of the INEC order.
Reacting, the Special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe, said that the Governor of Kano State, Abdulahi Umar Ganduje, Godswill Akpabio, Chairman, Committee on Protocol went to inspect the Eagles Square ahead of the APC’s National Convention that is coming up on the 26th of March, 2022.
According to Joe Igbokwe, he said: “Ganduje, Chairman, Committee on Protocol inspects Eagles Square ahead of the March 26th APC National Convention, accompanied by Akpabio and other members of the committee”.
Do you think that the APC’s National Convention will still hold on the 26th of March despite the INEC order?
