The governor’s prolonged stay in Germany has raised concerns over the state of his health.
He is expected to arrive in Ondo state later today.
Recall that a few days ago, the Ondo state government had to dismiss the rumoured death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, saying he is bound to return to Nigeria this week on or before Friday from his medical trip to Germany.
The reaction came on the heels of reports that the governor had passed on in Germany on Sunday, which triggered reactions and counter reactions from stakeholders within and outside the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
