New commander appointed for Tincan Island Port Strategic Command
I am committed to ensuring that Tincan Island Port remains a no-go area for drug traffickers. With a robust strategy and collaboration with international partners, we will intensify our efforts to safeguard our nation’s ports and protect public health,” Ofoyeju stated upon his appointment.
Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has announced the appointment of Commander Mitchell Ofoyeju as the new Commander of the Tincan Island Port Strategic Command in Lagos.

Before this appointment, Ofoyeju was recognized as the Agency’s reform champion with the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council.
He also played a critical role in implementing the priorities of the Bola Tinubu-led administration.
