Nuclear war looms as Putin signs bills to annex four regions in Ukraine
Nuclear war appears to be looming in the Russia/Ukraine conflicts President Vladimir Putin of Russia on Wednesday signed Axt of Parliament to annex four territories of Ukraine recently resolved in a referendum to rejoin Russia.
The territories include Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, and government documents indicated that the regions are “accepted into the Russian Federation in accordance with the constitution of the Russian Federation.”
Putin also signed laws officially appointing the current Moscow-backed heads of the four regions as acting leaders in the regions.
Putin had earlier warned that Russia may use nuclear weapon in the war in Ukraine as the West continues to supply arms to Ukraine. But President Joe Biden counter0warned that Putin dare not use nuclear weapon, threatening that it will change the face of the war.
