Ooni Ogunwusi advocates collaboration with EFCC against societal ills
The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has called for more support towards the efforts of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in curbing societal ills.
Ooni Ogunwusi made this plea while welcoming the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede who was on a visit to the palace.
In a post on X on Thursday, Ooni Ogunwusi said he applauded the dedication to leadership style of the the EFCC in enhancing Nigeria’s image as an attractive destination with good governance and accountability.
He also maintained that Nigeria needed dedicated patriots like Olukoyede, who were determined to bring innovative ideas, passion for nation-building, and a strategic focus on community inclusion in governance.

According to the post, “I applaud your dedication to leading the EFCC in curbing societal ills and enhancing Nigeria’s image as an attractive destination with good governance and accountability.
“Nigeria needs dedicated patriots like Ola Olukoyede, who bring innovative ideas, passion for nation-building, and a strategic focus on community inclusion in governance.

“Your enthusiasm for Nigeria is inspiring, especially your belief in the younger generation as the nation’s greatest asset. They are full of creative ideas, energy, and a desire to shape the future through technology.

“Together with Ola Olukoyede, our nation is on the right path.
We must work creatively and support the EFCC’s efforts to foster community engagement.”
