PDP stalwart reveals something big will hit party Friday
A group in the Peoples Democratic Party have decided to leave the party having felt sidelined since the Supreme Court gave its judgement on the leadership of the party in favour of the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led Caretaker Committee.
These disgruntled members of the Senator Modu Sheriff camp claimed they have been left out of the activities of the party.
Kairo Ojougbo, the party Deputy National Chairman to the former party leader Sheriff said on Channels Television that they will take a walk out of the party and decide where they will pitch their tent in the coming days.
According to him, there will be a massive defection of PDP members September 15 in Agbor, Delta.
But the exodus will lead nowhere yet as the defectors have decided whether to join the ruling APC.
He added that their decision to leave the party resulted from imposition and unfair treatment and lack of internal democracy which has plagued the party and led to the defeat it suffered in 2015.
