Poland will not send soldiers to Ukraine—PM
There are a lot of speculations about whether there will be discussions in Paris about who, when, and whether they are ready to send their troops to Ukraine at all,
Poland has confirmed that it will not send its soldiers to Ukraine but will continue to provide support to countries that choose to do so, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters ahead of his departure to Paris for an emergency European Union summit, Tusk addressed ongoing speculations surrounding the potential deployment of troops to Ukraine.
He clarified Poland’s stance on the matter.
“There are a lot of speculations about whether there will be discussions in Paris about who, when, and whether they are ready to send their troops to Ukraine at all,” Tusk said.
“As for Poland’s support, the issue has been resolved.”
Tusk emphasized that Poland would continue to aid Ukraine through organizational, humanitarian, and military assistance, but made it clear that sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine is not on the table.

“Poland will not send our soldiers to the territory of Ukraine.
However, we will provide logistical and political support to those countries willing to offer such guarantees to Ukraine,” Tusk added.
Tusk’s comments come as European leaders gather in Paris for urgent talks, where discussions about further support for Ukraine are expected to take center stage.
