In the wake of the infamous January 6 attack on the Capital Building in Washington District of Columbia (DC) which is the capital city of the United States of America (USA), the country instantly found itself on the receiving end of criticisms amid general condemnation of the uncivilized incident. And in the middle of the entite ugly development was the then sitting President Donald Trump.

As it had happened prior to the above-said civil unrest that took place at the Capitol arena, the year 2020 Presidential election had been held in the North American country. And because Trump who was a Republican candidate lost his bid to secure his second term in office to the Democratic former Vice President Joseph Biden, also known as Joe Biden, under Barack Obama, he outrightly rejected the result. So, in the spirit of his defiance of the result of the election, Trump asked his supporters to prepare themselves for a rally that would be held close to the Capitol Building where Biden’s certification had been scheduled to hold on the 6th of January. The aftermath of that rally was the much talked-about Capitol Building riot that almost destroyed the glorious image of the USA.Meanwhile, when after the Capital attack it became clear to Trump that Biden would certainly become his successor, he allegedly decided to travel briefly to Scotland which is his late mother’s country of origin. But he was denied access into the country by its government. And the real causes of his denial into the country may be presented as follows:

According to the independent News report, the then President of America was said to be going to his Turnberry Golf Resort in Scotland in order to avoid attending Biden’s inauguration of January 20. But the First Minister of the European country, Nicolas Sturgeon, said that it was illegal to travel in or out of the country without a valid reason. In addition, the female ruler said that going to the country to play golf was not what she considered as an essential purpose.

2.) And CNN reported that the First Minister also said that Trump, like every other person, would not be allowed into the country (Scotland) due to the raging Corona virus pandemic and its related restrictions.
