Senator Bob Hall from Edgewood, in Texas is pushing for a bill that seeks to stop any state-mandated vaccinations, including Covid-19 vaccines.

This is coming after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a ban on vaccine passports into law, Texans for Vaccine Choice (TFVC) issued a call to action for Texas to follow Florida’s lead.

Senate Bill 1669 from State Sen. Bob Hall, which has the support of TFVC, would ban businesses from discriminating against individuals who have asserted their individual right to not receive a vaccination; the bill also bans segregating such individuals. Citizens who feel their rights have been violated could file a complaint with the state attorney general.

The bill, if passed, prohibits a healthcare facility or provider from refusing service to a patient because they aren’t vaccinated, and the same would go for medical students wanting to study at the facility.

Additionally, employers would be prohibited from segregating or firing unvaccinated employees or using vaccinations as a factor in their hiring decisions, a provision that some opponents have characterized as an infringement on the rights of businesses.

Speaking at the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee, Senator Hall said it was not right to treat unvaccinated individuals as if they are sick individuals or as if the choice they have made is wrong.

“Nobody in our society should be hindered from participating in business, schools or in government just because they have made a very personal decision for themselves or their children not to receive a particular vaccine or vaccines.

“It is no secret that the covid-19 vaccines are not FDA approved. The government itself recently said and I quote “here is the reality everybody needs to understand, these vaccines have not been formally approved by the FDA. They have been approved for emergency use operation, and that means nobody can be forced to take the vaccines.

According to him, in four months of 2021, there has been more covid-19 vaccines experiment deaths than all the vaccines deaths for a fifteen year period between 1997 and 2018.

“In 1976, there were 45m people vaccinated for the swine flu, only 15 people died, and the program was immediately halted because it was considered too risky. So why not Covid-19 vaccines that have significant side effects, and more people have died from complications after being vaccinated,” he asked.

If Senator Bob Hall’s bill passes, all vaccines will become optional. The lives of children, hospitalized patients, people in nursing homes, and those who are immunosuppressed would be placed in jeopardy as infectious diseases could run wild without herd immunity.

The CDC recommends vaccinations for healthcare workers, including physicians, nurses, emergency medical personnel, dental professionals and students, medical and nursing students, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, hospital volunteers, and administrative staff.
