Shehu Sani reveals why APC will collapse after Buhari’s tenure
Shehu Sani, a former federal senator, has stated that the current All Progressives Congress (APC) will collapse after President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office.
Sani stated that the ruling APC will cease to exist upon Buhari’s departure from Aso Rock in 2023 due to the underlying injustice and betrayal within the party.
After it was determined that the South West would produce Buhari’s successor, he criticized the party for neglecting to zone its presidential ticket there.
Sani accused President Buhari of betraying the South West by not supporting the zoning of the party’s presidential nomination to the region.
He told The Punch, “The APC is still uncertain on whether or not to rotate, and it has gathered a great deal of money from candidates.” only that no zoning decision has been made.
“If the APC does not adhere to the principle of zoning, it will bear a moral obligation.” Because President Muhammadu Buhari has been in office for eight years, it is only reasonable for the APC to field candidates from the south so that we can appeal to voters.
Due to the underlying inequity within the APC, the party will not last a single night after Buhari. He said.
