NUJ: ANA congratulates Chris Isiguzo on re-election
The President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Camillus Ukah, has congratulated Chris Isiguzo on his re-election as NUJ President at the seventh triennial delegates’ conference of the Union in Umuahia, Abia State.
Camillus Ukah in a statement by ANA National Publicity Secretary (South), Wole Adedoyin, noted that the re-election of Chris Isiguzo was yet another sign of confidence reposed in him by the Councils of NUJ.
Camillus Ukah expressed that Chris Isiguzo deserved the victory, noting that it was a demonstration of NUJ members’ confidence in Isiguzo’s ability to perform.
ANA further acknowledged Chris Isiguzo’s achievements in the past three years, which the association identified as the reason for his re-election.
Camillus Ukah commended Chris Isiguzo for his leadership style, assuring him of ANA’s support and cooperation.
The statement read: “I extend my warm felicitations to you on your well-deserved victory recently recorded during the seventh triennial delegates’ conference of your Union which held in Umuahia, Abia State.
“For those of us who have keenly followed your giant strides in NUJ, your victory did not come as a surprise. Your re-election, therefore, represents a daring and resounding testimony to the good work you have done in the past three years”
