Mother of governor Yahaya Bello’s chief of staff kidnapped in Kogi
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Mrs Seriya Raji, mother of Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
It was gathered that the victim was abducted from her residence at Inese/Ovakere new layout in Nagazi community, Adavi Local Government Area of the State on Monday night, December 13.
According to reports, the gunmen stormed her residence at about 7:40p.m shortly after she observed her evening (Ishai) prayer in a mosque within the compound.
This is coming few weeks after the Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Adewale Omofaiye, escaped being kidnapped.
The state police command is yet to respond to this development.
