Presidency 2023: Peter PSquare declares he’s an OBIdient, YUSful Nigerian as Tinubu’s camp tremble over Obi Movement
A popular musician in Nigeria, Peter Okoye, on Wednesday reaffirmed that he is an ‘OBIdient’ and ‘YUSful’ Nigerian, displaying his unalloyed support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, in the 2023 general elections.
Peter Okoye of the PSquare lineage in a tweet on his official twitter handle Peter Okoye MrP @PeterPsquare wrote: “I’m an OBIdient & YUSful Nigerian. Good morning.”
The pronouncement may have thrown the camp of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, into trembling as supporters became restless and attempted to discredit Obi’s leadership credential but got strong bashing on the APC hardship plague on Nigerians.
A supporter of the APC presidential candidate, had on his twitter handle ojeyemi bamidele @BamideleOjeyemi responded: @PeterPsquare “I am for Tinubu and Shetima. Obi is not a president material.”
But Miebaka koko @Miebaka1 fired back: @BamideleOjeyemi and @PeterPsquare
“…seeing Tinubu, do you think he is strong enough? The entire world is moving ahead, Africa is going 10 steps back…. see other Presidents like that of Liberia, France, [they are] young Leaders, and you want someone that is as old as your father… that’s unfair, can’t you be President?”
Also Emeka Innocent @Cent_Swaz22 added to the fireworks: @BamideleOjeyemi
and @PeterPsquare saying ‘Those who are President material are the ones that use hardship to barb people hair to the extent even if you use artificial hairs, they can’t work.’
