Peter Obi, Baba-Ahmed pay courtesy visit to Sheikh Gumi in Kaduna
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, on Monday paid a courtesy visit renowned Islamic cleric in Kaduna, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi. 
They LP presidential team extended their activities from the Arewa Joint Committee Meeting on Monday to the residence of Sheikh Gumi in Kaduna.

Obi, celebrating the visit, tweeted: “Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed and I stopped by for a courtesy call on Sheikh Gumi at his official residence in Kaduna.”

Obi and Baba-Ahmed had earlier visited Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero; and the Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, Ango Abdullahi, including two former Heads of State, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar.
