FUD student reacts after Aisha Buhari withdrew defamatory case against him
Final year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Aminu Adamu, who was arrested for a defamatory tweet against First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has advised social media users to use the various platforms well and not follow in his footsteps.
He made the remarks in an interview with the press minutes after Aisha Buhari withdrew the defamatory case against him.
It would be recalled that on November 8, Adamu, 24, was arrested by the police in Dutse for publishing a defamatory statement on his Twitter handle against Mrs Buhari.
In the allegedly offending tweet, Adamu, who is studying Environmental Management, posted a rotund picture of the first lady with a caption in Hausa saying, “Mama is feeding fat on poor people’s money.” The tweet was posted on June 8, 2022.
